Dump it out !

Beach Mosquito Control District often reminds citizens to dump out containers that hold water around their house. There are a number of mosquito species that breed in artificial containers. These species can carry viruses as well as dog heart-worm. The video below shows just how many mosquito larvae can be present in one container in your yard or your neighbor’s yard. The video shows samples taken from a 5 gallon bucket. There were 3000+ mosquito larvae and pupae found in only four cups taken from the bucket.
