The temperatures are steadily dropping here in the Panhandle of Florida. It may be too cold for most residents to go swimming, but it isn’t too cold for mosquitoes.
Mosquito breeding may slow down some in the cooler months here on the beach, but it does not stop.
There are many pools in our district that may not be able to be maintained. That being known, Beach Mosquito Control District keeps a record of pools that are possible breeding habitats for mosquitoes.
If you have a pool, or know of a swimming pool that may be of concern; give us a call at 850-233-5030.
Beach Mosquito will gladly come out and inspect the pool in question, and treat it with environmentally sound measures that have a long lasting residual effect in order to prevent the pool from breeding mosquitoes.
