Just curious, are ya’ll fogging 3am to 6am due to the heat index or is it the way it is always done?
Those hours are set that way so we get the best control for mosquitoes (times most target species are active), avoid times when most people are out walking etc. and after bees have gone to hive for the day. The heat does play a factor in drift and things of that nature but largely the reasons are as described above. Thank you for your comment!
Thank you for your response
I’ve noticed a significant drop in the number of butterflies that visit. What kind of impact does mosquito fogging have on other species of insects?
Beach Mosquito Control conducts adulticide spray missions when needed, and the missions are conducted at a time to help avoid non target insects, such as bees and butterflies.
